Idk if anyone remembers this, but a while back when xyzzy allowed custom cards there was a Bionicle pack for it called Cards Against Unity. There was some interest in the 810NICLE Day discord about a Bionicle Cards Against Humanity set, so i was curious if anyone around here still had the content of Cards Against Unity

Although I really don't recall how to work the site, it might be fun to have like... play the game in character like I used to... it's been awhile.

Also part of the issue is I'm not sure which decks are appropriate or not.

A fun fandom memory: I remember a bunch of people contributing to a tma themed cards against humanity deck, and then organizing a time to play with it on pretend you're xyzzy. That was super fun

Honestly yeah I've noticed this myself. I remember when I first got exposed to roleplaying the place I ever got the chance to dip my toes into the world of RPing was the CAH site "Pretend You're Xyzzy" back before they removed the ability to chat there all together. The character limit was abysmal but we all made it work there and dealt with the people coming in to complain and say start the game. Keeping track of your own rp with so many others going on at the same time. I met so many amazing people thru that site as I got into rping.

Made a pretty solid friend group there and though not everyone stayed in contact we managed to survive the move from that to figuring out Skype to the discovery and rise of Discord. Many have moved on with their lives entirely but there are still some that I still in contact with. I even met my current partner thru RPing on that old site.

I've attempted to find new places to meet new people to rp with online with limited luck throughout the years. Some just never took off or never worked out well as it wasn't as open and easy as other chatrooms and places. Tried discord servers but most are dying or dead or just aren't what I'm looking for. Granted there are plenty of Discord RP servers for various fandoms that young people can find and maybe make friends in as they get into rping. Though not so much for those a bit older who still enjoy rping now and then.

i dont like the idea that kids these days are doing their fandom rps with ai chatbots. that's how you're supposed to make lifelong friends as a weird really online teen.

Back in the day, my friends used to make custom decks with Cardcast, and play them on Pretend You're Xyzzy. I don't think either of those exist any more.

wow! I wrote a cards against humanity more than losts the light card pack for online play!! wowie ! this deck can be played by itself, but you’re totally welcome to use it with other decks as well. this deck IS NSFW.

you can go on cardcast (a service similar to jackbox games) and find my deck here to use it, or you can use pretendyourexyzzy, a slightly defunct but well-loved cah clone! here’s how to use this deck on pyx:

1. go to pretendyourexyzzy (I’d recommend googling it and picking the first result)

2. go to “create game,” and set a password if you’d like 

3. in the chat, type the text between the quotations: “/addcardcast NP975″

4. profit!

this deck was inspired by so many cool folks within the tf fandom. some contributors I’d like to give credit to are @lesbianwhirl, @criminarchy, @timelessmulder, @yeahdragon, and @speedfreak01 as well as everyone who sent me an anon giving suggestions!!! 

this deck may get updated if I think of more stuff, but there are enough cards in it to have a fun experience every time you play!
